Artist: LadyAmarra Rating: PG Prompt: Wraith queens: show us the Wraith queen version of some classic fashion style Medium: digital drawing Character : Wraith Queen Notes: Prompt #2 for paintedspires on lj This is my Wraith Queen, dressed up in the fashion style usual for court ladies from around 1600 to 1660. It's early baroque and not the typical Spanish, French or German (more towards Italy) approach but I love to paint fabrics and adore the way the light can make them melt into the background without much need for complicated details in the background. Typical colours for such portaits are yellows, golds, browns and blues in form of shawls and heavy fabric in combination with large jewlery.
